Madhur Bhandarkar opens up about his next film Wives Of Bollywood; says,”Being the wife of a mega-superstar is NOT easy”

National Award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is ready to amaze fans with his next directorial film, Wives of Bollywood. His film will showcase the insight of the showbiz world. Madhur talked about his forthcoming film, which aims to cover scandal, gossip, power struggles and the opulent lives of many wives of popular actors.

Madhur Bhandarkar shed light on his next Wives Of Bollywood

Madhur Bhandharkar shared that with Wives of Bollywood. Beyond the glitzy aspect, he wants to explore these people’s everyday lives. He claimed that he had been thinking about the movie’s title for a while. Speaking about it, the filmmaker shared, “My audience has a certain kind of expectation from me. They are very well aware that if I’m working on a film, I will make sure to bring out some sort of an ‘expose’ on my subject matter.”

Madhur added that when it comes to the research, he wants to get into every detail of the subject. He also stated being fascinated and felt that the audience would connect to the topic. He added, “Everybody wants to know the reality and the truth behind the glitz and glamour of the lives of the wives of Bollywood superstars. There are so many layers and being the wife of a mega-superstar is not that easy.”

Madhur Bhandarkar is best known for directorial films such as Chandni Bar, Page 3, Fashion, Traffic Signal, Jail, Heroine, India Lockdown and more. Now, fans are excited about his newly announced film, Wives of Bollywood.

Apart from Wife of Bollywood, Madhur has recently released a film based on the real incidents of the COVID-19 pandemic times titled India Lockdown. It featured Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, and Prakash Belawadi in pivotal roles. The film depicted the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on the people of India. It was produced by Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Bhandarkar Entertainment and Pranav Jain’s P J Motions Pictures.
